Together, they provide red running light, bright red brake light, and full contrast amber turn signal flash. The LED turn signals work with included controller that installs under the seat. Units are DOT compliant with provided smoked bullet lens caps. They contain 48 dual color LEDs behind a spherical lens to amplify the light output. The bright LED clusters are a direct replacement for the rear 1157 turn signal bulb. Plug and play for 2014-2021 Harley-Davidson® Street Glide, Street Glide Special, Road Glide, Road Glide Special, and Road King Special models.Ĭustom Dynamics introduces a revolutionary technology in their plug and play SMART LED Turn Signals for Harley-Davidson motorcycles. Since brake function is also present, the turn signal must blink red in color. This multiplexed signal limits the rear turn signal illumination. The body control module (BCM) on some of Harley’s most popular motorcycles carries both brake and rear turn signal power on the same wire.
